Welcome to the
CoNP courses.
Welcome to the education page for the Council of International Neonatal Nurses, Inc. (COINN) Community of Neonatal Nursing Practice (CoNP). On this page you will find several online neonatal courses. Each course has been developed by a team of neonatal nurse professionals in collaboration with COINN. The courses are all standardized based on the COINN Competency Framework and the COINN Competency Skills Checklist used to measure clinical performance. Each course includes embryology, genetics, neonatal pharmacology, infant and family centered developmental care, identification, and management of neonatal conditions, quality improvement information, research-evidence-based practice, and leadership. A certificate of completion will be provided after successful completion of each course which can then be taken to country Ministry of Health (MoH) and Nursing Councils for acknowledgement or endorsement.
